About me…

Trained at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating in 2004 from the BATP Scenic Art course, over 20 years I have worked in many areas of the entertainment industry.

My career began in theatre and events, painting for various workshops and companies before becoming the main scenic artist for Watford Palace Theatre in 2007, I was still a freelance painter and worked with them for 12 years alongside other projects.

Through my theatre work I gained extensive skills in a wide range of scenic art and painting techniques, it also makes you quick, resourceful and good at managing a budget. At Watford Palace I was in charge of everything related to painting for the theatre, I worked on all of their in-house productions and builds for touring shows and outside companies. I painted for their pantomime every year which meant a lot of cloths, portals and large scenic pieces. I also helped as a teacher for the students from RCSSD who came for work experience with us every season.

For the past 5 years I have been working primarily as a Head Painter for TV and film production. Collaborating with production designers, art directors and DOP’s, I have helped to bring their designs and ideas to life with a team of highly skilled scenics and painters. I have managed teams large and small, working across studios and locations - often at the same time.

I am London based but have worked all over the UK and also abroad.
